FALL FUN

Good for me I have finally figured out how to download pictures to the computer, so I don't have to wait for Brent to do it. I am playing a bit of catch up, I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Wednesday for our family outing we went to a corn maze. Eden loved running and really wanted to eat some of the tasty looking, dried up corn-yuk! Brent was getting motion sickness-weird I know but we've been told it happens. We thought we were so great and made it through the big maze only to find out we had just found a short cut-oh well good times anyway.

Who me? Yes you! Mind you when I got in the shower this room was clean and the toilet paper was not to be found. In a matter of just a few minutes, well, you can see that our angel unrolled an entire roll or toilet paper among other things-oh well at least it kept her busy and she was so proud or her accomplishment.

Umm... excuse me, but this blanket is just a bit uncomfortable. Yes, Eden found some tinfoil and thought it would be a great blanket for her baby monkey.

Weeeeee, daddy thought it would be fun to teach Eden how to slide down the hill in our backyard on a cookie sheet-she loved it. I just hope it doesn't become a habit.

Karen and I took our girls to Willow Park Zoo last week. It was really fun because the girls could just run and look at their own pace. We were the only ones there. There were mostly various types of birds but the girls loved it, they especially loved crouching down looking at the creatures. Bella really wanted to see the giraffe, she didn't quite understand why there weren't any.

I was never much good at the game of tag, we'll see if this is any better.

I wonder- Why Brent said yes the first time I asked him out
I regret-not managing my money better when I was younger
I love-Brent, Eden, and gooey chocolate brownies
I care- way to much about how Eden smells, I can't handle the outdoor child smell-yuk!
I worry-if I am/will be a good mom
I remember-when my grandpa Wright would give me .$25 cents everytime I went to his house and my brothers got...nothing.
I believe-in my husband and Santa Clause
I dance-horribly
I don't- sleep very good when Brent is snooring
I argue- oh wait, I don't (maybe once in a great while but I alway lose)
I write-a shopping list, but seldom ever use it.
I win- pretty much never
I lose-everytime I try to argue with someone
I wish-I could play the piano better
I listen-to Christmas music now
I can usually be found watching-Eden play
I am scared-of thunder and lightening
I need-a pedicure
I forget- how to spell simple words
I am happy-to be a mommy!

SUMMER FUN

Oh how I love a good popcicle!

Eden absolutely LOVES the water she would spend all day everyday

playing in water if she could. This pool is just the right size for her, but

not so much for her dad!

Although the weather has been nice and hot we are enjoying it ( could that be because we have

central air), I'm just glad we are not living in the little old home in Salem I fear I would have

had a heat stroke long ago.

Brent has been working a lot and golfing whenever his mean old wife will let him. He just sold eight German Shorthair puppies and has, believe it or not, consented to sell his male and female as a breeding pair. It has been harder that expected having them in Tremonton, they take time that he doesn't really have and will have even less of when school starts this fall.

"Hurricane Eden" seems to hit our home regularly between the hours of 8am and 11am and then again between 4pm and 7pm, I am becoming really good at disaster clean-up. At least she is cute to make up for it! She is starting to try and talk, I love it. I think she is to the stage when only the mother can understand. She loves to walk around saying "mom, mommy, mom, mommy" which would be great if she was really referring to me but usually she's not, these past few days her favorite phrase/conversation piece goes like this "mom, mommy" I say "what", she says "daddy", I say "he's sleeping", she say's "oh" or just nods her head- that is repeated SEVERAL times a day. We just love her!

As for mommy, besides that fact that I could do with some make-up wearing advice, a hair-cut/trim in a really bad way, and shampoo/conditioner that costs more than $1.50 I am great oh and if I didn't have to give a lesson on Sunday to a bunch of wonderful ladies who know a heck of a lot more than I do about everything! It's all good!

So I'm new at this but we'll give it a try.

Last weekend we went boating with Brent's family, Eden absolutely loved it(She is definately my daughter)! She would raise her hands up in the air and in a high pitched voice yell oooo-, I must admit that I was impressed with my sunscreen application ablilities she didn't even get burned and we were out there for about 6 hours.

We are enjoying the summer, Brent is out of school now until the end of August so that will be nice to hopefully see him a bit more and not have to worry about doing homework at the last minute! Eden keeps me busy but to be honest I love almost every minute of it.
